Maryland Black-Eyed Susan Program
2008-09

Each year, the Black-Eyed Susan Book Award is given by the Maryland Educational Media Organization or MEMO. The winning books are selected by the students in the state of Maryland. The purpose of the award is to promote literacy and lifelong reading habits by encouraging students to read quality, contemporary literature.
