THE PARAMOUNT SGA

Over the past few months the Paramount SGA has been very busy with a variety of activities meant for reaching out to the community.  Check out the information below to see what we have done so far this year and what we are planning to do next!

January 2011 - We set goals for what we wanted to accomplish in the new year

December 2010 - We collected a variety of items to send over to a Marine unit in Afghanistan.  One of the soldiers in this unit is Mrs. Lungociu's brother, Pvt. Christopher Waskiewicz.  We sent over a total of 98lbs. of toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, candy, gum, mints, chap stick, hand and foot warmers, and holiday and thank you cards!

November 2010 - We held the Salvation Army Canned Food Drive and collected 690 canned items.  While all grades participated, 2nd grade brought in the most items!

October 2010 - We held a hat day during spirit week to raise money for "Heavenly Hats," an organization that helps cancer victims.  On this day student's were invited to wear hats during the day for a $1donation.  We raised over $200 for this great cause!

September 2010 - In our first meeting of the school year, we set goals for what we wanted to accomplish.
