Teacher – Wayne Eckley

Wayne is a native of Clearfield. PA.  He moved to Maryland upon graduating from Clarion University of PA with a B.S. in Elementary Education in 1994.  He has taught third, fourth, and fifth grades, and most recently joined the Fairview Outdoor Center as one of four teachers.  Although the majority of his teaching experience is in Washington County, Maryland, he successfully taught five years in Prince George's County Public Schools.  It's no surprise that Wayne ended up at the doorsteps to Fairview, as his love for teaching children in the outdoors is his passion. Oddly enough, his hobbies include hunting, fishing, and camping.  An elementary educator at heart, he knows the value of hands-on learning, and strives to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs. Wayne eagerly awaits your childs arrival to the Claud Kitchens Outdoor School at Fairview!
